One of the most gratifying things about being an image coach is helping clients when they tell me they need a change. I’m not a life coach, but I am an image coach, and as we put your outfits together, I make it my goal to listen closely to what you want. (And believe me, I think sometimes that’s the most important thing I do … listen.)
After listening to you, I create your outfit. Sometimes it has colors or patterns that express how you want to feel. Sometimes it’s a new item, like a cozy cardigan instead of a blazer, that sets the stage in your mind and suggests the change to others. Lately I’ve also been helping clients with their body language, pitch statements and planning how they will enter a negotiation so they not only dress but act out the change they want.
Here are some of the things you have told me want when you say I need a change.
I want to be noticed when I go out.
I want to be taken more seriously at work even though I’m younger.
I want to clear out all the junk that’s taking up too much space and weighing me down.
I want to be appreciated for my talents when I meet with my colleagues.
I want to be visible at meetings at work.
I want to feel attractive, not just for dating, but for myself.
I want to feel optimistic about getting older.
I want to look polished even though the dress code is business casual.
I want to be respected when I volunteer at my kid’s school.
I want to feel confident about how I present myself to my boss.
I want to look feminine but in a sophisticated way when we go out.
I want to understand myself so I can put my best self forward.
My tools help clients see their essence, learn the meaning of clothes, use art to look beautiful and put looks together that tell a story about their life. I help my clients through that scary moment of oh no I need a change and meet some very core needs. I’d be happy to be your partner in this project. You deserve to be listened to and move forward in your changes with grace and ease and decisiveness. Send me an email at email@example.com and tell me what you want and need to change.
I’ll help you make a plan for what to wear and guide you on other meaningful actions you can take.
