Expert Speaking and Engaged Presenting on Image and Communication
Employees who dress to convey a first impression that they are smart, responsive and highly qualified are becoming hard to find. Also, as our overall way of dressing becomes less traditional it has become a real challenge for employees to wear business casual and appear authoritative and appropriate. And if that isn’t enough, we now all have a social media profile to manage that is driven by pictures, is easily seen and is connected to our work life.
This is a tough nut to crack in a lively, non-threatening yet expert way. But I can help you! My presentations are expert and detailed as well as compelling and up-lifting. Attendees are engaged, they ask questions, they make connections with each other, they feel confident and personally inspired. The most consistent feedback I receive after I speak is that they had a great time, the information was totally about them and they were grateful for the energy and attention they received. When you provide these types of benefits, your employees feel valued and confident.
Topics include authoritative, authentic and appropriate dress, how to dress casually yet with authority, how dress, tattoos, piercings, hair coloring, grooming and eye contact make or break an exchange, practicing the handshake and posing for power and using your best color to express a story or message. The topics are customized to your audience and their goals.
I’m in a unique place to teach image and dress. I have years of experience presenting to students, at sales meetings, at corporations and with leading meetings. I have been in the style business for ten years now and I bring expert, training-based learning to the room. I have a BA and MA in English Literature, I rowed for Rutgers Women’s Crew, built a successful career in corporate sales, earned certifications in color, theory, image and makeup from FIT in NYC and the AICI. I was the president of the AICI NY Tri-State Chapter in 2009, and I’ve developed new concepts and content for W.Y.E. training. Clients include GE, IBM, KPMG, J&J and BMW.
And here’s a recommendation from a client:
“For the fourth year in a row, thank you for bringing your energy and insight to our Emerge NJ class of 2017! You crammed a lot into a short time, and we really appreciate the work and thought you put into the session. You were so gracious with everyone. Much of the feedback we got from the day singled you out as the highlight! Next year, I think it’s clear, more time is necessary.”
