Expert Speaking and Engaged Presenting on Image and Communication
“For the fourth year in a row, thank you for bringing your energy and insight to our class! You crammed a lot into a short time, and we really appreciate the energy you put into the session. Much of the feedback from the day singled you out as the highlight! Next year, it’s clear, more time is necessary.” – Mary Knowles
Employees who dress to convey a first impression that they are smart, responsive and highly qualified are hard to find. Also, as business dress becomes less classic in most industries, it’s become a challenge to teach employees how to look casual and still wear an authoritative and polished outfit. Finally, the push to for more diversity in companies, including increasing the number of women in executive levels, requires teaching both men and women a new way of dressing that’s polished and in-charge yet bold and new.
These are challenging topics to handle in a lively, non-threatening. yet expert way. But I can help! My presentations are expert and detailed as well as compelling and encouraging. Attendees get engaged with the material, they ask questions, they make connections with each other and they leave with information they use the next day to make changes.
Presentations from the past include, but are not limited to: authoritative, authentic and appropriate dress, how to dress casually yet with authority, how dress, tattoos, piercings, hair coloring, grooming and eye contact make or break an exchange, practicing the handshake and posing for power and using your best color to express a story or message. I always customize the content to your audience and their goals.
Feedback from sponsors is excellent. They say the attendees are still discussing the material, the information was totally about them and they loved the energy and attention they received. When people feel secure and valued, they tend to be open to change. And when you provide great benefits – like talks that are memorable – people feel valued and confident. Isn’t that the kind of session you want to provide??
